Udacity, the Silicon Valley-based online learning platform,has launched a Blockchain Developer Nanodegree Program.

The ’s curriculum was developed with insights from experts in the space, including Balaji Srinivasan (CTO, Coinbase), David Johnson (Board Chairman, Factom), Aaron Brown (VP – Engineering, Madnetworks), Elena Nadolinski (Co-creator, Ethmoji.io and Engineer, Solidity), and PK Rasam (Founder, LINCD).

Udacity’s Blockchain Nanodegree will focus on job readiness and the acquisition of in-demand Blockchain skills to help its graduates. Students of the program will build portfolio-ready projects in collaboration with working Blockchain developers and hiring managers.

“The astronomical growth in the demand for Blockchain skills across industries made this an obvious next addition to our Nanodegree offerings,” said Ishan Gupta, Managing Director (India), Udacity.

The Nanodegree Program will also feature a roster of “Experts-In-Residence” for the course, giving students the ability to engage in discussions or clear doubts with practitioners.

Udacity’s Nanodegree programs provide credentials earned through a series of online courses and projects in an array of subjects from self-driving cars, AI, data science and digital marketing. Udacity collaborates with more than 120 global employer-partners including AT&T, Google, Facebook, Mercedes-Benz, and NVIDIA to close talent gaps.
