Today, we announced the results of our first-ever survey on the state of data preparation, which includes responses from nearly 300 analysts and IT professionals. At a high-level, the results show that organizations are spending too much time on data preparation, and this wasted time is hindering analytic progress. When we crunched the numbers, however, we also realized that data preparation inefficiencies translate to billions of dollars lost—clearly, data preparation is a costly bottleneck, and it presents organizations with a huge opportunity for improvement.
We’ve recapped our top findings from the survey below. For a complete list of survey results, read our official press release here.
