Incorporated with multiple movement sensors, the telecare solution formulated by the IoT connectivity service provider Sigfox and telecare firm Senioradom has several features such as door opening detection and an alert and geo-localisation necklace. The solution is designed in such a way that it can automatically detect any potential behavioural anomalies arising due to a slip or fall, seizures or deteriorating mental health condition.
Signing the partnership agreement, Ludovic Le Moan, CEO of Sigfox, said: “I am honoured to sign this agreement today, as it is the product of many months of hard work, both by our teams and those of our partner Senioradom. We are grateful to the French authorities for their support, without which this agreement would not have been possible. This is a key milestone for Sigfox and its development in China, where the IoT industry has incredible untapped potential. This partnership is just the first step towards a bigger presence in the region and shows that Sigfox can provide innovative solutions with the ability to radically change the country’s IoT market”.
The Chengdu High-Tech Industrial Development Zone has assured nearly EUR 300 million investment for the deployment after a pilot phase among 1500 individuals beginning 2018 in Chengdu.
Elsewhere, Sigfox and Argon Consulting have entered into a strategic partnership to develop new Connected Supply Chain models for global businesses. The partnership is anticipated to speed up the deployment of IoT solutions in Supply Chain to bring down lead times and costs and boost production.
