Here’s the scenario:
2 people brainstorm an idea for startup together. The idea isn’t some crazy technical or anything, it’s just an e-commerce idea with a twist.
PersonA takes the idea forward, with some “upgrades,” as a startup, but the other, PersonB, decides it’s too much work and doesn’t want to be part of it.
There’s nothing in writing or any agreement between the two. They both I suppose “own” the idea.
Can PersonB come back and sue PersonA if PersonA makes money in his startup?
