This app is horrible. Where is my privacy?
There is no reason for this app to sync with Fitbit only if there is internet. I believe that may violate my privacy. The data should go directly through Bluetooth from Fitbit to my iPhone and nowhere else. If I turn off WiFi and cellular data for this app, this app will not sync my FitBit with my iPhone. Why doesn’t it?? Is the data shipped to cloud then sent back to my iPhone?Very concerning since I believe my health information is not to be shared with anyone else.
I will return my Fitbit and delete the app. The data from my Fitbit should go nowhere but my synced device (computer or iPhone). There should be no need for internet. Unless they are collecting my data and selling it with out my knowledge.
This is all fishy to me. Good bye Fitbit, my privacy is far more important than your stupid scheme.

If Fitbit doesn’t give me the option of not sharing data, all else is just stupid excuses to snoop on others privacy and use of data in ways that might be totally unacceptable to the owner.

Bluetooth will not stay connected
Thanks to this latest update that was pushed out a few days ago I can no longer sync my new Charge 2 HR with the app. Bluetooth will NOT stay connected anymore. Fitbit seems to think I need to be troubleshooting and digging around for a fix by sending me all these links and telling me to “try this and see if it works” then get back to us. Excuse me? NO! I have better things to do with my time than to sit around on my laptop trying to find out where your CRAPTACULAR update broke. I’ve had Fitbits for almost 2 years and never had an issue, magically, the second the update is done, nothing works anymore. What a coincidence!!! Get your life together Fitbit.
Heartbeat & Sleep
Sleep data doesn’t like to show up. Or I’ll get simplified sleep data. It’s on firmly but not too tightly. I pretty much sleep the same way every night so sleeping positions can’t affect it too much. Also the battery has never been critically low. It’s annoying to keep on getting simplified sleep data. I’ve even tightened my watch one notch to try to help and guess what, it didn’t.
Seems like the heartbeat sensor is off at times. I will be resting, sitting somewhere and it’ll be 120. But somehow when I’m exercising it’s at 80. Seems backwards? I don’t know
