Coursera set to train professionals on AWS servicesCoursera has tied up with Amazon web services to render education on cloud as the technology has been growing in demand over the years.

According to the company blogpost, the course is a starting point for learners with a working knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts who are interested in learning how to apply to their roles and businesses.

With more than 83% of enterprise workloads expected to be on the by 20, companies are expanding the scope of traditional IT roles by aggressively hiring and developing with the skills to execute on their strategy, said the company.

“The growing adoption of cloud is changing the landscape of traditional IT jobs, and more and more companies are looking to hire and develop professionals with the skills and experience to set up and oversee cloud strategy, management, and implementation,” said Maureen Lonergan, Director of and Certification at AWS.

The course which is already live, will focus on fundamentals in planning, designing, and managing cloud environments. Secondly, how to choose, apply and use AWS services for common business requirements and how to make transitions to cloud technology within organizations.

The edtech company has also started ‘AI for everyone’ course for non-technical business leaders to navigate the rise of artificial intelligence (). The course will go live by January 2019 and is likely to be a three-week course with learners spending 2-3 hours a week.
