King’s Candy Crush Saga was the highest grossing mobile game from a Western developer in the second quarter, despite having launched nearly six years ago this November. According to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence , App Store and Google Play users spent an estimated $213 in the game during , representing year-over-year growth of about percent over the $0 million it generated in the year-ago quarter.

More than half—approximately 56 percent—of player spending contributing to Crush in Q2 originated in the United States. Its second most popular country by last quarter was Great Britain, by a distant 6 percent of the total.

Candy Crush Saga ranked No. 7 in terms of overall app spending across both stores last quarter and No. 6 among mobile games, surpassing the likes of Niantic’s Pokémon GO at No. 7, GungHo Online Entertainment’s Puzzle & Dragons at No. 8, and Supercell’s Clash Royale at No. 9.

The game was the highest earning in King’s Candy Crush franchise, surpassing Candy Crush Soda Saga and Candy Crush Jelly Saga at No. 19 and No. 127, respectively, for global mobile gaming revenue.
